Philip Bishop, Associate Director, is a chartered quantity surveyor with over 30 years experience in the construction and engineering industry. Philip’s experience has been gained through a wide range of building and civil engineering projects in the UK and overseas utilising various forms of contract and procurement regimes.

IS Consulting key experience

Electricity North West (ENW)
Part of a team providing contractual and commercial services on a portfolio of projects worth c £250m.

Thames Water
Undertaking commercial audits of actual cost of contrators’ and subcontrators’ accounts relating to capital work projects forming part of the AMP 4 works. Part of a team providing commercial exposure mitigation services relating to project placed into administration with particular emphasis on HR and finance issues.

Tube Lines
Commercial audit of subcontractors actual cost accounts including recommendations on future process and procedures.

Metronet
Commercial management services to including compilation of extra ordinary review submissions to arbiters, bid review and analysis related to both capital and operational works.

Shurgard
Providing pre and post contract services relating to the construction of warehouse storage facilities on the roll out of a construction programme of stores in the UK.
